Evangalism Team
The Hope in the Valley Baptist Church (HVBC) Evangelism Team is a mission-driven group focused on bringing the Gospel directly to the people of Hemet, San Jacinto, and the surrounding areas. The team's vision is rooted in a commitment to deliver the message of Jesus Christ in a clear, understandable, and responsive manner. This is not just a passive ministry; it is an active outreach designed to meet the community exactly where they are—in their neighborhoods, at local events, and through personal interactions.
A significant part of their strategy involves the use of high-quality "Gospel Tracts" and visual tools that clearly outline the plan of salvation. These materials are designed to be visually engaging and easy to follow, providing a tangible resource for people to take home and reflect upon. The ministry emphasizes that evangelism is a communal effort, and their goal is to ensure that every resident in the valley has the opportunity to hear and respond to the hope found in Christ.
The impact of the Evangelism Team is best seen through their community events, such as participation in the Hemet Holiday Parade, Prayer Booth in the park, Holiday and Kids Market in the church's parking lot. Demonstrating that their approach to evangelism is as much about building relationships and serving the community as it is about preaching.
Ultimately, the HVBC Evangelism Team serves as the "boots on the ground" for the church’s mission. By maintaining a presence at local festivals and hosting their own outreach events, they ensure that the church remains a visible and welcoming presence in the Hemet and San Jacinto valleys. For those looking to get involved, the ministry offers a way to put their faith into action, providing the training and resources needed to confidently share the Gospel with their neighbors.
